And the winner is.....

Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton in Nevada and John McCain in South Carolina.
 This is big for John McCain, as this is where he met is waterloo last time around when he was campaigning George Bush. Also, every president since 1970 has won South Carolina in the nomination. So, we will see if history will ring true here again and give McCain the GOP nomination. 
One of the biggest advantages of winning South Carolina is the momentum it gives going into Florida (who is one of the most powerful voting states). The thing that McCain will be going up against, though, is the fact that Rudy Guliani has been campaigning exclusively in Florida for two months and has a huge following. We will see if S.C. will make a difference as McCain tries to make up in less than two weeks what Guliani has been working on for almost two months.
