Scientists are working in Switzerland to study how the big bang came about by smashing micro-particles together at almost light speed. They are hoping that by studying the results they will be able to get a detailed estimation of how the earth began.
One must ask, though, where did the particles come from, and what propelled them to light speed?
When it really gets down to the nitty-gritty, you either have to believe that matter and energy are eternal or that God is eternal.
